China Robotics Industry Alliance Going Global (Vietnam) Launch
Vietnam–China Robotics Industry Development Cooperation Forum · AIBRAIN Vietnam Launch
The Alliance's First Stop Abroad
On 25 October 2026, the China Robotics Industry Alliance Going Global (Vietnam) Launch was held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The event was guided by Vietnam's Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Industry and Trade and the National Innovation Center (NIC), hosted by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and the Investment and Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC), and organized by the China Robotics Industry Development Alliance, AIBRAIN, AICAP and AIROBO, alongside the Autumn Economic Forum (AEF 2026) and the GRECO 2026 green-growth products and services exhibition.
At the launch, the Alliance signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with AIBRAIN and AICAP Group, a strategic cooperation framework agreement with AICAP Group on the centralized procurement of Vietnam's first batch of approximately 1,000 robots, and memoranda of understanding with Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), the NANO International Development Consortium represented by HDMON Group, the InnoEx International Innovation Alliance, DETI Technology and ITIFY; AICAP Group signed a robot deployment cooperation memorandum with CBD Robotics. Eight signings were completed in total.
AIBRAIN unveiled the Vietnam Robotics Industry Operations & Services System: built on the AIROBO GLOBAL foundation, it supports five platforms — the Vietnam Embodied Intelligence Mall, the Robotics Operations Management Platform, the Robotics Maintenance Service Platform, the Robotics Data & Model Center and the National Robotics Regulatory Platform.
Going Global (Vietnam) Launch Ceremony
The launch ceremony of the China Robotics Industry Alliance Going Global (Vietnam) was held at the event, with Alliance and partner representatives on stage touching the screen together to start the initiative.
The Alliance will connect R&D, robot hardware, core components, industrial capital and real scenarios across the whole robotics chain, building a platform for resource sharing, collaborative innovation, supply-demand matching and industrial cooperation.
Eight Signings
The signings covered seven areas — strategic cooperation, centralized procurement, industry–academia–research, park projects, industry development, AI and software, and deployment — with counterparties including Vietnamese universities, industrial groups, innovation alliances and technology companies.
AICAP signed the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement with AIBRAIN and the Alliance; the other memoranda signed at the launch proceed under this framework.
AICAP aggregates local demand for robots and smart hardware in Vietnam, while the Alliance brings its industry organization and member-company resources; the two sides establish a strategic centralized-procurement partnership to advance robot applications in Vietnamese hotels, shopping malls, property management and related industry scenarios.
Centralized Procurement of the First ~1,000 Robots
The Alliance and AICAP Group signed the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement on Centralized Procurement of Robots and Smart Hardware: AICAP aggregates local demand for robots and smart hardware in Vietnam, the Alliance brings its industry organization and member-company resources, and the two sides establish a strategic centralized-procurement partnership to advance robot applications in Vietnamese hotels, shopping malls, property management and related industry scenarios.
The two sides set approximately 1,000 robots as the phase-one overall demand-aggregation and project-matching target of this centralized procurement program, to be advanced in batches around scenario fit, product testing, investment budgets and procurement plans, and may explore cooperation models such as centralized procurement, leasing or operations services.
This target is a demand forecast and does not constitute a purchase order, minimum purchase quantity, guaranteed amount or any payment obligation; actual quantities, amounts and timing are subject to contracts or orders signed separately by the actual purchasing entities.

Roundtable
The roundtable brought together company and university representatives from China and Vietnam to discuss integrating robots with existing equipment and workflows, the localized services Vietnamese customers value, and how to start robotics projects in business and education.
- If you were to start a robotics project in business or education, which project would you choose, and what support or resources would you need to realize it?
- Based on your experience in Vietnam, what are the main challenges in integrating robots with existing equipment and workflows?
- If you were to start a robotics project in business or education, which project would you choose, and what support or resources would you need to realize it?
- From the perspective of the Vietnamese market, which localized services do customers value most when deploying robots — for example on-site deployment and installation, training, or maintenance?
- Based on your experience in Vietnam, what are the main challenges in integrating robots with existing equipment and workflows, and how do you plan to address them?
AIBRAIN Vietnam Robotics Industry Operations & Services System
Buying a robot is only the beginning. Acquiring the robot is the starting point; keeping it running long-term, stably and in compliance is the complete project.
The AIROBO GLOBAL foundation connects multi-brand devices, spaces and facilities, task workflows and operating data, providing reusable, shared capabilities to the five platforms:
- Vietnam Embodied Intelligence Mall
- Vietnam Robotics Operations Management Platform
- Vietnam Robotics Maintenance Service Platform
- Vietnam Robotics Data & Model Center
- Vietnam National Robotics Regulatory Platform
Robotics Showcase Space
On 26 October, the Alliance together with AICAP, AIBRAIN and AIROBO set up a robotics showcase space at the GRECO 2026 green-growth products and services exhibition, where humanoid robots, lion-dance robots, coffee robots and chess robots interacted with visitors, and held the announcement ceremony for cooperation on developing Vietnam's robot commercialization and operations platform together with a robot showcase experience.
